Nevedya is Food for the Spirit. Run by husband and wife duo Daniel Rigos and Shakti Iyer, it is an experience to bring you back to your true self. The food is a cleansing experience of reconnecting to nourishment at its untainted roots.
All the food is designed and created by female head chef Shakti Iyer with intention to nurture, transform and heal.
We serve vegetarian world cuisine with flavours from India, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and beyond. Our ingredients are ethical, organic, seasonal and showcase produce from local farms and growers.
The space of Nevedya is a full spectrum sensory experience. There are beautiful smells to greet you, specially curated music, with art and beauty all around.
The interior is designed by head chef Shakti Iyer and wood artist Yanni Rigos. There are a variety of different and unique seating experiences from the Arabic style comfy floor seating booths, to the magnificent Californian redwood communal table, to the dog friendly outdoor heated deck set amongst our beautiful permaculture garden.
We are located in the magnificent Dandenong Ranges just under an hour from Melbourne. Spectacular nature abounds with cool rainforest walks, quaint towns and alternative vibes.
This is not your standard drinks menu.
Sacred Cacao Elixirs are blended in-house using raw cacao and rich dark chocolate and are super-charged with healing Superfeast medicinal Chinese herbs and South American superfoods.
Witch’s Healing Teas are hand-blended with intention using Old World healing herbs to shift your state of being.
Masala Chai is stove brewed like in India and is infused with freshly ground spices, fresh turmeric and ginger.
Coffee is fair-trade and organic and brewed locally in Warburton by Silva Coffee.
For milks we use only high quality organic Bonsoy, and Pure Harvest coconut and almond milk. And for cow milk we use the amazing ethical milk from How Now Dairy where cows and calves are treated with respect and kindness.
